September 20, 2025, Tanko Park, Beijing – Italian luxury brand GIADA renews its strategic partnership with the FIRST Fantastic Film Festival. For one week, fashion and cinema converge, as the collaboration turns its gaze to the voices of Chinese women in film — voices both resilient and luminous, carrying strength in their stillness.

On the opening day of the festival, GIADA-supported short film Her Knots premiered globally, exploring the mother-daughter bond and women’s experiences with wit and warmth. Screenwriter Hu Xiao, recipient of the 2024 "GIADA Art to Art Fantastic Grand", was awarded a production fund from GIADA, enabling more cinematic storytelling from the female standpoint.

A forum titled Beyond the Lens, Before the Story Begins followed the screening, moderated by director Han Xia and joined by the renowned host Li Jing, acclaimed screenwriter You Xiaoying, director of Her Knots Yang Danyu, and screenwriter Hu Xiao. Together, they shared insights on creative inspiration and women’s expression, celebrating the quiet resilience and strength of feminine narratives. The short film’s lead actress, Yu Aier also attended.
